It’s official! Framed, an improvised comedy series created by Claire McFadden (co-directed by Sam Bowers & Brett Singer, and produced by Bottle Rocket Media), will have its world festival premiere at this year’s New York Television Festival.
We’re totally having a proud parent moment right now, so please excuse us while we take a moment to humble brag.
Check out the trailer:
Synopsis: This Chicago-set improvised series goes behind the counter of a custom frame shop, where a parade of customers reveal their troubles, aspirations, and drama in the process of framing their precious art.
Infused with the essence of improv—a symphony of ‘Yes, and”, it is truly a collaboration of talents—Framed has been providing laughs since Claire and Sam pitched the idea last fall. So we are thrilled and honored it has been selected to play at NYTVF.
Big shout out to the entire team—the cast, the crew, the post-production team, and our on-set craft service selection (we’re looking at you Andes Creme de Menthe Thins)—you guys killed it! So proud.
We’re stoked to be among all the talented producers, writers, and actors whose independent pilots made the cut. Learn more about them at Deadline.com and Variety.com.
Ok, humble brag over.
