“There is something so exhilarating about seeing a crew use their unique skills to work as a team.” – Rayna McKinley
What’s your story? (what did you want to be when you grew up? How does your current position relate, etc?) I changed “dream jobs” so many times as a kid, but they all had one thing in common: I wanted to work in a creative industry that allowed me to meet people from all walks of life. In my role at Bottle Rocket Media, I work with some of the more creative people I know and I get to learn about all kinds of different industries outside of video production.
How would you describe working with Bottle Rocket Media? No two days are exactly the same here! We have such a wide variety of clients and projects. Combine that with our experienced, knowledgeable team and I genuinely learn something new every day. It sounds so corny, but it’s true!
Why do you love being a Production Coordinator? There are a lot of things I love about my job, but my favorite thing is the feeling of being on set and getting to see a talented group of people come together to make something great. There is something so exhilarating about seeing a crew use their unique skills to work as a team.
What’s your favorite movie/video?! My “comfort movies” as I call them are definitely Clueless, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and Clue.
What’s a talent you have that you rarely share? I can wiggle my ears, either at the same time or alternating
Pick what you could live without out of the three? Amazon, Netflix, or Google? Definitely Amazon.
If you had to sing karaoke, what would be your go-to song to sing? Probably something by Stevie Nicks or Elton John. Anything people would sing along with!
